New training program taught in English
ESA (Ecole Supérieure d'Agricultures) has just opened up the second half of the "Plant breeding and experimentation" option within the Professional Degree in Agronomy to international students.
This means that the second half of this 1-year course will be taught entirely in English. This course includes topics such as plant biotechnology, plant genomics, statistics, experimentation, seed quality, genetic resource management and breeding. The targeted jobs are experimentation technician or breeding assistant, in firms generally working at the international level and therefore in which the practice of English is a very important skill.
The objective is to welcome 10 to 15 international students. A special partnership is set up with the AERES University of Applied Sciences located on the Dronten campus in the Netherlands. By following the first semester of study at AERES, students will be able to obtain a double diploma: a French professional degree (licence pro) in Agronomy and the European Engineer Degree from AERES.
